1 Apple (such as Boskop)
200 grams cooked Beets
100 grams gherkins
6 Pickled herring
150 grams Mayonnaise
50 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat)
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 onion

Preparation steps

1.

Peel and dice potatoes, apple and beets. 

2.

Cut pickles and herring fillets into cubes. 

3.

Whisk mayonnaise with yogurt, season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop onion, add to yogurt mixture and mix well. Combine all ingredients and mix well. 

4.

Refrigerate, covered, for about 1 hour and serve. 

5.

If desired, serve with whole-grain bread.
