Ingredients
1 handful
finely chopped fresh Fresh herbs (such as thyme, oregano, rosemary)
18 ounces
Pastry flour (Type 405)
1 packet
1 teaspoon
1 pinch
8 ½ ounces
lukewarm Milk
7 tablespoons
softened Butter
1
Vegetable oil (for the baking sheet)
1 tablespoon

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the herbs, shake dry, pluck the leaves or needles from the stems and finely chop. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the dough hook, mix the flour with the yeast, salt, sugar and the chopped herbs. Add the milk, butter and egg and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Grease a baking sheet.

2.

Knead the dough again and divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll into balls and place close together (in a semi-circle) on the baking sheet. Cover and let stand 15 minutes.

3.

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

4.

Brush the rolls with condensed milk and bake on the middle rack until golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
