1 pkg refrigerated Puff pastry dough
2 Tbsps Pastry flour
2 Tbsps butter
500 milliliters milk
100 grams grated Gruyere
200 grams Bacon (cut into small pieces)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Place the puff pastry on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Saute the flour in 2 tablespoons butter, deglaze with milk, stir well and cook over low heat about 10 minutes. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg and allow to cool slightly, then stir in the cheese.

3.

Spread the bacon evenly on the puff pastry and cover with the sauce. Sprinkle with additional freshly ground pepper.

Place the baking sheet in the hot oven and bake until golden brown about 15-20 minutes. Serve with a green salad and a glass of white wine, such as a Dézaley from Switzerland.
