225 grams frozen Strawberries
150 grams softened butter
200 grams powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla sugar
300 grams Pastry flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
50 grams chopped almonds
1 pinch salt

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Defrost strawberries and chop.

Beat softened butter with powdered sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder, almonds and salt. Mix together.

Thoroughly knead strawberries into dough.

Butter a baking sheet and sprinkle with flour. Place dough on baking sheet and press to about 1.5 cm thickness (approximately 1/2 inch). Bake in oven for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Cut out hearts in different sizes from the soft dough. Let cool prior to serving.
