Ingredients

for
1
Ingredients
225 grams powdered sugar
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Preparation steps

1.

Beat egg whites with the lemon juice until very stiff and add gradually the sugar. Reduce mixer speed to the lowest level and continue beating until the egg whites become cut resistant.

2.

Transfer the egg whites into the piping bag with a large star tip and pipe heart-shaped meringues approximately 6 cm (approximately 2 1/4 inches) on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3.

Bake in a preheated oven (150°C) (approximately 300°F) for about 1 hour, until meringues are dry rather than baked. Remove and allow to dry further overnight at room temperature.
