Smoked eel (with skin and without bones)

Scallion top (for garnish)
black Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Soak wooden skewers in water. Cut the eel into 8-cm (approximately 3-inch) long pieces. Thread eel onto skewers. Mix together soy sauce, honey and lime juice.

Place eel, skin-side down, on the grill. Brush with marinade. Grill, turning skewers occasionally and brushing often with marinade, about 8 minutes.

Sprinkle skewers with sesame seeds and garnish with spring onion.

4.

Serve with rice, if desired.
