400 grams Gooseberry
150 milliliters Apple juice
4 centiliters Rum (or non-alcoholic rum)
juice of lemons
500 grams jam sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, trim, and drain the gooseberries. Bring to a boil in a pot with the apple juice, rum, lemon juice, and jam sugar. Boil for 5 minutes.

2.

Divide into prepared jars, and seal well. Turn upside down, and let cool slightly. Turn right side up and cool completely.
