Golden Spanish Toast Squares

Heat the grill to hot.
Toast the bread in batches until golden brown; usually 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove and butter half of the slices.
Arrange the cheese slices, ham then chorizo in layers evenly on top of the buttered slices of bread.
Lay the other toasted slices on top to create sandwiches. Use a sharp knife to cut into bite-sized squares.
Prick with the toothpicks to create appetizers. Serve immediately.
