- 250 grams trumpet Chanterelle
- 2 onions
- 5 Tbsps softened butter
- 4 slices Farmhouse bread
- 4 Goat cheese (each about 125 g)
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 4 Tbsps peeled Nut (such as walnuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts, almonds)
- 8 thin slices Bacon
Preparation steps
1.
Clean the mushrooms, and chop or leave whole depending on their size. Peel and finely chop the onions. Heat the butter in a pan, and sauté the onions and mushrooms until golden brown.

Brush one side of the bread slices with butter. Place on a hot grill until browned. Place the goat cheese on the grill, and brown on both sides, about 5 minutes total.

Melt the remaining butter and the honey in a pan. Coarsely chop the nuts, add to the honey mixture, and caramelize lightly.
4.
Top the bread with half of the onion and mushroom mixture. Top with the bacon, cheese, and the caramelized nuts. Place the remaining mushrooms on top, and serve.
