1 Baking sheet, 2 Bowls, 1 Small bowl, 1 Plate, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Peeler, 1 Slotted spatula, 1 Grill pan, 1 Piping bag, 1 Fine grater, 1 Citrus juicer

Preparation steps

1.
Put the dried fruit and candied peel in a bowl. Pour over the brandy and set aside.

Break up the bread and soak in the milk until soft, then beat with a fork until creamy.
3.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Grease 4-6 individual pudding basins.

Mix together the melted butter, sugar, spices and egg, then beat into the soaked bread.
5.
Stir in the soaked fruits, with any brandy remaining and the orange zest.
6.
Spoon into the basins and bake for 35-45 minutes until cooked through.
7.
Turn out onto serving plates and serve with whipped cream.
