Preparation steps

For the dough: Peel the potatoes and grate coarsely. Mix the flour with the milk, eggs, 1/2 teaspoon salt and the potatoes into a dough. Heat the butter in a small non-stick pan. Divide the dough into 4 pancakes, about 18 cm (approximately 7 inches) in diameter and cook. Place on a sheet tray lined with aluminum foil. To garnish: Place 2 sausages as ears on each pancake. Cover with slices of cheese.

Cook under a broiler until the cheese is melted. Cut the remaining sausages into slices. Rinse the tomatoes and cut in half. Cut the zucchini into small triangles. Rinse the chives and spin dry. Decorate each pancake with the tomatoes as eyes, sausages as a mouth, and zucchini as a nose. Use the chives as hair. Serve on warm plates.
