3 cups Strawberries (hulled and chopped)
3 tablespoons Citric acid (powder)

Preparation steps

1.
Place the water in a pan with the sugar and bring to the boil, stirring from time to time.

Add the strawberries, simmer for 10 minutes then stir in the citric acid.
3.
Let the mixture cool a little then strain through a fine sieve.
4.
To serve, dilute the cordial with 5 parts of still or sparkling water.
