- For the yellow jellies
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- For the blue jellies
- 1 tablespoon Blue Curacao (or blue food coloring)
Dissolve the gelatin in cold water per package instructions and let soak for about 10 minutes. Boil 250 ml of water (approximately 8 ounces) in a pot with the sugar. Mix the corn starch in a little cold water and stir into the pot sugar water, simmer briefly. Divide the sugar water evenly between 5 bowls, and add the ingredients for each color to a separate bowl. Divide the gelatin mixture between each bowl and stir well.
Line 5 rectangular dishes or pans with baking paper, then fill with the different fruit jellies and chill in the refrigerator. When set, remove from the mold, cut into bit-sized squares, roll in powdered sugar and decorate with sprinkles if desired, then serve.
