1 cup plain Dark chocolate (65% cocoa solids, chopped)
cup sweetened condensed milk
2 ½ cups cream (48% fat)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups Milk chocolate (40% cocoa solids; chopped)
½ cup chopped Nut (almonds, pecans, etc.)

Preparation steps

1.
Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering (not boiling) water, until the chocolate has melted. Remove from the heat and stir until smooth. Set aside to cool and thicken for 10-20 minutes.

Whisk together the condensed milk, cream and vanilla until thick. and quite stiff. Whisk in the melted chocolate until smooth and blended.
3.
Tip into a freezer-proof square or rectangular container, cover with cling film and foil and freeze until solid.
4.
Melt the milk chocolate as before. Set aside to cool and thicken for 10-20 minutes.
5.
Cut the ice cream into small squares and quickly dip each square into the chocolate until completely coated. quickly sprinkle with chopped nuts and return to the freezer.
