- 16 trimmed Sardines
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- Pastry flour
- 6 tablespoons Olive oil
- juice of Lemons
- 1 splash White wine
Rinse sardines, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Coat sardines with flour.
Heat olive oil in a pan and fry sardines on all sides for 6-8 minutes. Add lemon juice and white wine and let liquids reduce slightly. Serve sardines on plates with lemon wine sauce.
