Fried Marinated Sardines
Mix the lemon juice with grated garlic and 5 tablespoons olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Pour the lemon juice mixture over the sardines and let marinate covered for several hours.
Pat dry the sardines, roll in flour and fry in remaining hot olive oil until golden brown.
Peel the onions and chop finely. Place the onions, balsamic vinegar, remaining marinade and white wine in a pan, bring to a boil and pour over the fried sardines. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours. Serve the sardines with garnished lemon and parsley.
