For the fried bananas
40 grams Pastry flour
40 grams cornstarch
50 milliliters cold water
1 egg white
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons Rice wine
2 Banana
vegetable oil (for frying)
For the honey sauce
2 Cardamom
75 milliliters honey
2 tablespoons Plum wine
1 tablespoon coarsely chopped Pistachio

Preparation steps

Stir the flour, cornstarch, water, egg white and sugar until smooth and let sit for 20 minutes, then add the rice wine. Peel the bananas and cut into pieces. Dip the bananas in the batter and fry until golden brown in hot vegetable oil.

Drain the bananas on paper towels and keep warm.

For the sauce, crush the cardamom pods and heat along with the honey in a saucepan. Add the plum brandy and pistachios. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve the fried bananas on plates and drizzle with the sauce.
