10 ounces Puff pastry dough (frozen)
4 ripe Apple
2 tablespoons lemon juice
butter (for the pan)
2 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Pastry flour (for the work surface)
1 egg yolk

Preparation steps

1.

Thaw puff pastry. Peel and quarter apples, core and cut into wedges. Mix with lemon juice. Butter tart pan and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Arrange apple slices, overlapping, in a pan.

Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and line pan with it. Press down the edges and brush with beaten egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and invert onto a cake plate. Serve warm or cold.
