- 1 Tart pan (26 cm or a heart-shaped mold)
Mix the flour , butter, egg, salt, and sugar into a smooth dough. Knead for 30 minutes. Chill and then roll out on a floured surface. Line the springform pan and pull up on the sides to make an edge. Prick with a fork several times. Rinse the figs, cut into quarters and spread on the crust.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 15 minutes to prebake. For the filling, whisk the cream with the egg, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Remove the tart from the oven and pour the cream over the figs. Sprinkle with pine nuts and bake for another 20 minutes, until spotted and golden brown. Let cool slightly and serve while warm.
