- 2 handfuls Elderflower
- 1 fresh lemon
- 500 grams sugar
- 10 grams Citric acid (from pharmacy)
Preparation

Gently shake the elderflower; do not wash. Rinse the lemon in hot water and cut into slices.

Slowly boil 1 liter of water (approximately 26 ounces) with the sugar, while stirring. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool, then add the elderflower and lemon slices and cover in a large pot or bowl. Allow to infuse for two days.

Bring the mixture to a boil again, and stir in the citric acid. Then pour everything through a cloth strainer. Fill the prepared bottles and keep tightly closed.
