very fresh Egg yolks
250 milliliters
white rum

Preparation steps

1.

Bring the milk, half of the sugar and the vanilla seeds to a boil, stirring occasionally. Beat the remaining sugar with the egg yolks over a hot water bath, until frothy.

2.

Skim the foam from the boiling milk. Pour the milk through a fine sieve. Allow to cool slightly. 

3.

Mix the egg mixture at the highest setting. Slowly pour in the milk and rum.

4.

Refrigerate in bottles and serve as soon as possible.
