Preparation steps

For the dough, cut butter into flour and add the egg, egg yolk, salt and cold water as needed to make a smooth dough. Roll into a bowl, wrap in plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (approximately 400 ° F). Grease the wells of a mini muffin pan with vegetable oil.

Roll out the dough until 3-4 mm (approximately 1/5 inch) thick and cut out 24 circles (slightly larger than the diameter of the muffin wells). Place one circe in each well, making a fluted shape. Bake in the oven about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, let cool slilghtly, carefully remove and leave to cool completely.
