- For Chocolate Fondue
- 14 ozs heavy cream
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 18 ozs semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)
- For Accompaniments
- 42 ozs Strawberries (washed)
- 4 medium, ripe Banana (peeled and cut into 1-inch thick rounds)
- 1 bunch green Grape (washed)
- 3 Star fruit (trimmed; sliced; seeds removed)
- 1 angel food cake (or pound cake)
Product recommendation
Plan on about 3/4 cup fruit, cake or bread per person.
Preparation steps

In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, combine cream, vanilla and butter. Bring mixture to a simmer. Remove from heat source and stir in the chopped chocolate. Stir continuously until chocolate is completely melted.

Transfer the mixture to a fondue pot, place the pot over a fondue burner, keep chocolate warm but not hot. Using fondue forks, dip prepared fruits and cake into warm chocolate. Serve immediately.
