1 Cookie cutter about 4" bunny shaped

Preparation steps

1.

Dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 teaspoon sugar and stir until smooth. Mix flour, sour cream, egg, butter, salt, orange peel and orange liqueur into a mixing bowl and add yeast mixture. Using a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, thoroughly knead flour mixture into a smooth dough. Cover dough and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes or untill double in size.

2.

On a floured surface, knead dough and roll out to about 1 cm thick (approximately 1/3 inch thick). Using a cookie cutter, cut about 20 bunnies from dough. Place bunnies on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Preheat oven to 200°C/ 400° F. Brush bunnies with egg yolk and let rise for about 15 minutes. Bake bunny buns until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Let buns cool and decorate with ribbons as desired to serve.
