Nutritional values

Spiced bread provides plenty of carbohydrates that make you feel full, but that's not the only reason why they are indispensable: carbohydrates are our main source of energy, they are also available at short notice and the body can burn them easily. The brain cells in particular depend on a regular supply of this macronutrient.

If you add a few tablespoons of oat bran to the dough - then take a little more milk to mix - you are also providing soluble fibre, which stimulates the formation of bile acids from cholesterol. As a result, less cholesterol gets into the blood and the cholesterol level drops accordingly.
