Donuts with Strawberry
Separate the eggs. Stir the flour with the milk in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the egg yolks and butter. Whisk the egg whites with 1 pinch vanilla until stiff and fold into the batter.
Meanwhile, heat the frying oil in a deep fryer (or a pot) to about 170°C (approximately 350°F).
Rinse, trim and dry the strawberries. Stir the strawberries into the batter and fry in the hot oil, in batches 2-3 minutes until golden brown, turning occasionally.
Drain the donuts on paper towels.
Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
Serve with mint sauce if desired.
