1 stale White roll
600 grams mixed Ground meat
1 egg
1 finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon medium hot Mustard
salt
freshly ground peppers
breadcrumbs
750 milliliters vegetable oil (for frying)

Preparation steps

1.

Soak roll in lukewarm water. Squeeze to remove excess liquid. In a bowl, combine bread with ground meat, egg, onion and mustard. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Form into oval shaped meatballs.

2.

Roll meatballs in breadcrumbs. Pour oil into a pot. Fry meatballs in hot oil until golden brown. Transfer to a serving dish and serve meatballs on toothpicks, if desired.
