Ingredients
- For decoration
- strawberry Glaze
- Chocolate frosting
- pink, white and brown sprinkle
- Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 200 milliliters lukewarm milk
- ½ cube Yeast (21 grams)
- 80 grams soft butter
- Pastry flour (to work)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation steps
Sift the flour into a bowl and mix with the sugar and salt. Add the eggs, milk and the yeast. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and knead. Add the butter in small pieces to it and knead. The dough should have a soft and supple texture. If this is not the case, add additional flour or milk, depending on whether it is too dry or too moist. Now cover the dough and let sit for about 1 hour in a warm place.
Roll out the dough to about 1.5 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) thick on a floured surface. Cut approximately 12 circles (diameter 8 cm, or approximately 3 inch) and cut out a small hole in the center (diameter about 2 cm, or approximately 3/4 inch). Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for another 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a saucepan or deep fryer to about 170°C (approximately 325°F) and fry donuts in portions until golden brown for about 2 minutes per side. Then remove and drain on a wrie rack. When the donuts are cooled, decorate as desired.
Use glazes and decorate with sprinkles.
