¼ cup butter (softened)
¼ cup caster sugar (superfine sugar)
1 egg
0.333 cup Gluten-free flour
0.333 cup plain Dark chocolate (melted and cooled)

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C / 350°F. Spread the almonds out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes. Cool.

Put the butter and sugar into a bowl and beat well together. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in the flour and chocolate. Add the cooled whole almonds.

Place teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased baking tray. Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes or until firm to the touch. Cool on a wire rack.
