Preparation steps

1.

Add the white wine to a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and reduce by half. Mix in the cream, return to a boil, and reduce by half again.

Remove the pan from the heat, and stir in the butter.

Season to taste with salt and pepper. You can season further with spices of your choice.
