Preparation steps

1.

For the crust, combine the flour and ground almonds and make a well in the center. Cut the butter into small pieces. Add the butter and egg yolk to the well. Sprinkle with sugar. Cut the ingredients together with two knives or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles a coarse meal. With your hands quickly knead into a smooth dough. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 355°F). Butter the tart pan.

3.

For the filling, rinse the lime in hot water. Peel the zest from one lime and cut into thin strips. Grate the zest of the other lime. Squeeze the juice from both limes. Combine the juice, grated zest, powdered sugar, pudding mix, eggs, cream cheese and quark until smooth.

4.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and place on the bottom of the tart pan. Pour the cheese mixture on top and bake for 1 hour.

5.

Cool in the pan then unmold. Serve garnished with the lime strips and pistachios.
