Cookies with Raspberry Jam
Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and brown sugar on baking board and add butter (cut in pieces.) Add grated chocolate and quickly knead into smooth dough. Form dough ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F.) Line baking sheets with baking paper then roll out dough about 4 mm (approximately 1/3 inch) thick on lightly floured surface.
Cut dough into pairs of hearts and stars and cut out centers from one of each pair. Place cookies on lined baking sheets and bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Let cookies cool, remove from sheet and cool on wire rack. Sprinkle powdered sugar on cookies without centers.
Heat raspberry jam in small saucepan until jam becomes liquid. Spread whole hearts and stars spread with jam and top with powdered sugar-dusted cookies without centers. Allow cookies to cool and dry.
