This light, refreshing drink is the perfect summer snack. Unlike those extremely sugary lattes and frappuccinos, this drink is low in calories and won't give you a horrible sugar crash. 

You could add other spices to the drink like cinnamon or cocoa powder to change up the flavors!

grated Nutmeg
1 pinch

Preparation steps

In a bowl, stir the coffee with the sugar. Season with the nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour into a shallow bowl and freeze until the mixture starts to form ice crystals, about 2 hours.

Stir the mixture with a fork. Freeze for another 2-3 hours, stirring 3-4 times, until small ice crystals have formed. Serve the coffee granita in chilled dessert glasses.
