Coffee Cookie Bites
Boil water and butter in a small saucepan. Remove pot from heat. Add flour and mix with a wooden spoon to make a smooth dough. After a minute of cooking, remove from heat and place in a mixing bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, to dough. Add baking powder and allow to cool.
Put batter in a piping bag with a plain nozzle. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pipe 20 large (4 cm or 1 1/2 inch) and 20 small (1 cm or 1/3 inch) dough balls. Bake in an oven preheated oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Stir powdered sugar with coffee until smooth. Add cream.
Cover cooled cookies with coffee glaze. Top large balls with small balls. Press slightly to adhere. Put remaining glaze in piping bag with a star tip and decorate, as desired. Allow to dry completely and serve.
