600 grams Ground beef
1 onion
1 Tbsp butter
salt
peppers
vegetable oil (for frying)
4 Lettuce
2 tomatoes
4 tsps Mayonnaise
4 tsps Ketchup
4 Hamburger bun (with sesame seeds)
1 pkg French fries (frozen, 4 servings)

Preparation steps

Peel onion and chop finely and fry in hot oil until translucent and mix with ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Shape into round patties, about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inches) thick. Heat oil in a heavy skillet and fry hamburgers on both sides for about 3-4 minutes. Rinse lettuce and spin dry. Rinse tomatoes, drain and pat dry and cut into slices. Cut buns transversely and spread 1 teaspoon ketchup on bottom half and spread mayonnaise on top half. Place lettuce and hot hamburger on bottom half of bun and top with a tomato slice and top half of bun.

Prepare french fries, according to package instructions, as desired. Serve hamburgers with fries.
