Cinnamon Quark with Mirabelle Plums
- For the plums
- 500 grams Mirabelle plum
- 150 milliliters Apple juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
For the plums: Rinse plums, halve and remove pits. Combine apple juice, sugar and plums in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch with a little cold water and add to the saucepan. While stirring, bring to a boil again and then allow to cool.
For the quark topping: Finely grate chocolate nougat. Combine quark with buttermilk, sugar, cinnamon and 2/3 of chocolate nougat. Distribute plums into dessert glasses. Pour cinnamon quark topping over and sprinkle with remaining grated chocolate. Serve garnished with mint leaves.
