110 grams sugar
260 grams Pastry flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
200 grams butter
100 grams Hazelnuts
50 grams powdered sugar

Preparation steps

1.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and 100grams (approximately 3 1/2 ounces) sugar until fluffy. Beat in 1 teaspoon cinnamon, flour and nuts and  knead well. Divide the dough in thirds, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate one hour.

Preheat oven to 175°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut each roll into 2 cm (approximately 3/4-inch) thick slices, shaping into crescents and place on the baking sheet. Bake until light brown, 10-12 minutes.

4.

In a small bowl, stir together 1 teaspoon cinnamon and the remaining sugar. Roll the still warm pastry in the cinnamon sugar.
