- For the biscuits
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg yolk (beaten)
- ½ cup Almond flour
- vanilla extract
- To decorate
- powdered sugar
Preparation steps
1.
Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well to form a dough. Wrap in clingfilm and chill for 1 hour.

Heat the oven to 160°C (140° fan) 325°F gas 3. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
3.
Shape the dough into long finger-thick rolls. Cut into 5cm|2" lengths and shape each into a crescent.
4.
Place on the baking trays and bake for about 12-15 minutes until pale golden. Sift a thick layer of icing sugar over the crescents, while still warm. Leave to cool.
