150 grams honey
75 grams brown sugar
75 grams butter
3 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons Gingerbread spice
2 eggs
250 grams Pastry flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 tablespoon Cocoa
50 grams Chocolate shaving
1 jar Amarena cherry (450 grams, or substitute maraschino cherries)
1 Mini muffin baking tin (12 muffin tin)
powdered sugar (for dusting)
Fat (for the muffin tin)

Preparation steps

Heat the honey with sugar, butter and milk, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Add the gingerbread spice, remove from heat and let cool. Whisk the eggs into the honey mixture. Mix the flour with baking powder and cocoa and fold with the chocolate shavings into the honey mixture.

Line muffin tins with the muffin cups, and spoon in a third of the batter into the cups. Press each 1 cherry in the middle of the batter. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 15-20 minutes. Remove from muffin tin, let cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
