300 grams Pastry flour
100 grams sugar
1 pinch salt
1 egg
200 grams butter

Preparation steps

1.

Combine the flour, sugar and salt, make a well in the center, add the beaten egg to the well and sprinkle the chopped butter around the edges. Chop all the ingredients together until crumbly with a knife.

Quickly knead into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface until 3 mm (approximately 1/8 inch) thick. Cut out Christmas themed shapes and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until golden brown, around 10-12 minutes. Let cool before serving.
