8 soft flour Tortillas
80 grams chocolate almond (alternatively also cinnamon or chocolate mocha)
500 milliliters vegetable oil
powdered sugar (for dusting)
8 Wooden skewers (for securing)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Briefly warm the tortillas and immediately place in a resealable bag so they won't dry out. Remove one at a time and with kitchen scissors cut the tortilla into a house shape. Place a piece of chocolate on each tortilla. Fold the middle over the chocolate and roll up the tortilla toward the tip, shaping each into little envelopes.

Secure with wooden skewers.

Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or saucepan to 190°C (approximately 375°F).

One at a time, carefully drop the little envelopes into the oil and fry until golden brown, 3-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Carefully remove the skewers and dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
