2 tablespoons Whipped cream
1 tablespoon cherry schnapps (orange liqueur, if desired)

Preparation steps

1.

Chop chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl set over a pan of hot water (water should not be above 40°C, or approximately 100°F; if too hot, chocolate will lose its luster). Stir until melted.

2.

Stirring constantly, gradually incorporate cream and liqueur. Use hot chocolate sauce for hot or cold desserts. If desired, vary flavor with additions such as cinnamon or chili powder to taste.
