1 Shortcrust pastry (according to basic recipe)
2 ounces Shelled peanut (roasted and salted)
4 ounces Dark couverture chocolate
2 ounces Peanut butter (crunchy)
coarse Sea salt

1 Rolling pin, 1 Knife, 1 Pot

Preparation steps

1.

Prepare the basic short pastry crust dough according to our recipe. (You can find the link to the recipe in Product Recommendation above)

2.

Roll out the short pastry and cut diamonds with a sharp knife. Place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Remove and allow to cool.

3.

Coarsely chop the peanuts. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating as well and melt it over a hot water bath. Remove half of the chocolate and stir in the peanut butter.

4.

Put two diamonds together with a dollop of the peanut chocolate mix and let the peanut cookies cool down a little.

5.

Decorate the cookies with a blob of chocolate coating and sprinkle with peanuts and salt. Chill the peanut cookies until the chocolate coating has set.
