Preparation steps

1.

Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda. Beat the butter, sugar and 200 grams (approximately 7 ounces) of brown sugar until creamy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Stir in the vanilla. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Mix into a smooth dough. Fold in the chocolate chips, cover and chill for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix the peanut butter with the remaining brown sugar.

Heap tablespoons of dough on the baking sheet, leaving distance in between. Use your thumb to make a well in the center of the cookies and fill with the peanut butter. Top with a second heap of dough, completely covering the filling.

Bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Serve warm.
