The cocoa in the pancakes contains flavonoids that are important for our heart health.

Preparation steps

Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, cocoa, and powdered sugar in a bowl. Form a well in the middle. Add the eggs and milk, and whisk until the mixture is smooth. Rest for about 15 minutes. Melt the butter, add into the batter, and whisk until everything is thoroughly combined.

Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan. Pour 1 small spoonfull of batter into the pan, and cook 1-2 minutes on each side. Repeat until all the batter is used.

Melt the peanut butter with the milk and sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly.

Stack the pancakes, and drizzle with the peanut sauce. Garnish with pretzels.
