40 grams grated Walnut
75 grams Apricot jam
1 tablespoon Rum
80 grams halved Walnut
1 Dark chocolate
2 tablespoons Whipped cream

Preparation steps

Quickly knead the butter, sugar, egg, walnuts, flour and salt into a dough. Let rest for 1 hour.

Mix the butter, sugar, grated walnuts, jam and rum over a hot water bath. Remove from the heat and let cool.

Roll the dough out until it is 5 mm thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut out circles. Place the dough circles onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°F). Cool on a wire rack. Brush the bottoms of the cookies with the filling on and press another cookie onto the other side. Melt the dark chocolate over a hot water bath. Stir in the cream. Cover the cookies with the chocolate. Garnish with the walnuts and serve.
