The nut chocolate cake can help with exams, because hazelnuts and chocolate are brain food. The nuts are rich in magnesium, vitamin E and niacin, which together strengthen the brain and nerves. Flavonoids from the chocolate can improve our blood circulation in the brain, which strengthens our ability to concentrate.

If you are a real almond fan, you can replace the hazelnuts with ground almonds. Alternatively, you can also use walnuts or macadamia nuts for the nut chocolate cake.

Preparation steps

1.

Boil almond milk, add flaxseed, remove from heat and let soak for about 10 minutes.

2.

Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line a springform pan with parchment paper. Mix flour with baking powder, nuts and grated chocolate. Add margarine to almond milk and allow to melt. Add sugar, almond cream, cinnamon and salt and stir. Lastly add flour mixture and mix everything into a smooth batter. Pour into the pan, smooth evenly and place into the oven on the center rack. Bake about 1 hour, if necessary cover with aluminum foil.
