Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 160°C (approximately 325°F). Grease the springform pan with butter and sprinkle with flour. Chop the chocolate into pieces. Melt with the butter over a hot water bath. Stir in the sugar, remove from the heat and let cool slightly.

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff. Gradually stir the egg yolks into the chocolate mixture. Fold in the chocolate. Gently fold in the egg whites. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth. Bake for about 50 minutes. The inside of the cake should still be very soft and fluid.

Let cool and serve dusted with cocoa powder.
