Preparation steps

1.

Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Bring the sugar, cocoa powder and milk to a boil in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and continue cooking, without stirring, until a candy thermometer reads 114°C (approximately 237°F).

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract. Beat with a wooden spoon until no longer shiny.

3.

Place on the baking sheet, flatten and let cool. Sprinkle with peanuts to serve.
