Ingredients

For the dough

milk chocolate (chopped)
For the sauce

organic Oranges

For the garnish

Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: Combine all dough ingredients, except chocolate, and let rest for 30 minutes. Use wet hands to form dumplings, press a piece of chocolate into each and shape dough around chocolate to seal. Cook in simmering water for about 12-15 minutes. Remove and drain.

For the sauce: Peel oranges and separate fruit segments. Heat segments in a saucepan and sprinkle with 2-3 tablespoons powdered sugar. Deglaze with lemon juice and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cook over low heat for about 2 minutes.

For the garnish: Heat butter in a pan and cook gingerbread and sugar.

Add a bit of sauce to each plate. Top with dumplings and garnish with gingerbread crumbs, orange peel and mint. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
